What are the Mari Prete Fineart® Editions?

There are currently three types of Mari Prete FineArt® Editions:

Limited Editions. These include only artworks from Mari Prete, personally signed by her and strictly limited. The limitation refers to the motif as a whole and is divided among the available sizes. The finishes offered are not limited and can be freely selected within the stated size limitation. Each artwork of the Limited Edition is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. In general, the sizes offered in the Limited Editions also include extra-large formats that are not available in other editions.

Premium Open Editions. Unlimited print runs of artworks by Mari Prete. Neither the motifs, sizes, nor finishes are limited. These artworks are not signed and do not receive a certificate of authenticity as in the Limited Editions. In general, the sizes offered in the Premium Open Edition are smaller than in the Limited Edition, and no XL or Giant sizes are offered. However, the quality and materials used in the Premium Open Edition are the same as in the Limited Edition.

Gift Editions. All artworks and products from Mari Prete FineArt make wonderful gifts. The Gift Edition includes works that are particularly suitable and affordable as gifts due to their characteristics (e.g., special finishes and/or gift packaging). They are “the special gift” for every occasion. The motifs in the Gift Edition are mainly from the Premium Open Edition, as the Gift Edition is generally not subject to limitation. Exceptions are special promotions or offers, which may indeed be limited.

Can I choose the size of an artwork?

The size of the artwork is an important feature for the optimal development of its effect and is determined by the artist Mari Prete herself. Most of the artworks are produced in different sizes from which you can choose. In the case of the Limited Edition, the size plays an important role, as the limitation of the motifs is divided among the different available sizes. As a rule, the larger the artwork, the smaller the number of available artworks.

The sizes are listed in easy-to-understand categories, such as X-Small (approx. 45 x 30 cm), Small (approx. 60 x 40 cm), Medium (approx. 90 x 60 cm), Large (approx. 180 x 120 cm), X-Large (approx. 270 x 180 cm) and Giant (approx. 360 x 240 cm). There are also special sizes and special formats (round, square, etc.), which you can find in the store under the respective motif.

The Premium Open Editions are also available in different sizes, but the larger formats like L, XL and Giant are reserved for the Limited Editions only. There are also several intermediate formats available here, such as Medium+, 120 x 80 cm or 150 x 100 cm.

Can I select different mounting and framing options?

Yes. You can choose between the offered finishing methods depending on the product and edition. Finishing options are selected individually for each artwork by the artist. Not all finishing options are available for all artworks.

What frames are available?

Depending on the artwork, we offer passe-partout frames, solid wood frames, display case frames, ArtBoxes, aluminum or acrylic frames — all available in a variety of colors and moulding widths. All frames are handcrafted individually for each artwork at WhiteWall in Germany.

How do I hang my artwork from Mari Prete?

Very easy, very secure, and right out of the box. Every piece is delivered with a pre-installed, professional wall-mount.

Ordering

Do I need an account to place an order?

No. You can place your order as a guest.

During checkout you can log in to an existing account, or continue as a guest by entering your billing and delivery addresses.

When you complete a purchase as a guest, an account is automatically created for you. You’ll receive an email inviting you to set a password. If you’d like the benefits of an account, set your password; otherwise, you can ignore the email.

Will I receive an order confirmation?

Yes. Right after placing your order you’ll receive a confirmation email with all key details. Customers with an account can also view their order in the account area.

Can I change my order?

Orders that haven’t been completed at checkout can still be changed—use “Edit Cart” or “Continue Shopping”.

Orders are considered completed when payment is made. Completed orders for customized products cannot be changed. Artworks by Mari Prete are always considered individualized products because finish and framing are selected by the customer at the time of ordering.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes. To request a cancellation, please contact our customer service via your account or the options provided on the store (“Contact Us”, “Live Chat”, or by phone on the homepage). If your order is successfully cancelled, you’ll receive a confirmation email and a refund where applicable.

Orders for individualized products/artworks can only be cancelled in particular cases and only if production has not started. Artworks by Mari Prete are always considered individualized products when finish and framing are selected by the customer. Orders for products from other categories can be cancelled until dispatch.

Payment

What methods of payment are accepted?

Note: PayPal payments are currently not available.

We accept major credit and debit cards via our payment providers (e.g., Stripe), plus selected local methods depending on your country.

Payment on account: available on request for orders of €5,000 or more. As with all payment methods, production/disptach begins after full receipt of funds.

Cash on delivery is not supported.

How secure is my online payment?

Your checkout is protected by modern SSL/TLS encryption, meeting current standards for secure online purchases. In addition, our payment providers comply with the highest industry security requirements (e.g., PCI DSS). This ensures your transactions are processed safely end-to-end.

How do I purchase a gift certificate?

In the main menu, select Gift Certificates. You’ll be taken to a dedicated page to buy or check a gift certificate.

Choose the amount (within the available range), pick a design template, enter the required details, and preview the voucher. When you’re happy, add it to the cart and complete checkout.

How do I redeem a gift certificate or a promotional code?
  1. Have your unique gift certificate code ready (e.g., Z50-Y6K-COS-402) or your promotional code.
  2. Browse the store and add items to your cart.
  3. Open the cart (View Cart).
  4. Enter your code in the corresponding box:
    Gift Certificate → enter in the “Gift Certificate” field and click Apply.
    Promotional/Voucher Code → enter in the “Voucher Code” field and click Apply.

Shipment & Delivery

How much does shipping cost?

Within the EU shipping for Limited Edition artworks is free of charge.

For all other products and Premium Open Edition artworks, EU shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the delivery address.

How long does it take for my order to arrive?

Typical delivery time is about 10 working days. Timing may vary with size/weight and the carrier.

What shipping or delivery options can I choose from?

Standard: we ship in specialized art packaging to your chosen address.

For large Limited Edition formats, individual delivery is included at checkout (free within the EU). Our shipping partner will contact you to agree a delivery time.

What shipping partners does Mari Prete Fineart work with?

We use certified carriers. Partners vary by size and destination; UPS, TNT, and FedEx are among those we trust.

Which countries does Mari Prete Fineart deliver to?

We can ship to most countries worldwide; some products have restrictions for certain destinations.

Currently, we ship our products by default within the EU. Shipping of Mari Prete’s original Limited Edition artworks is free within the EU.

For orders outside the EU, please contact us via Contact Us or the “Need Help?” button. We’ll estimate timing and costs individually.

Can I pick my order up in a Mari Prete Fineart Store-Gallery?

Yes—if available for your product, you can select Store Pickup during checkout. This option is always free.

How can I track my shipment?

You’ll receive a shipping confirmation with a tracking number. You can also track your order in your customer account.

What happens if an artwork arrives damaged?

If packaging shows visible damage on delivery, please inspect the contents with the courier. If damage is evident, take photos and refuse acceptance.

If damage is only visible after unpacking, take clear photos and contact us immediately. We’ll arrange pickup/return at no cost to you. After processing the return, we’ll produce a replacement right away. Damaged Limited Edition prints are disposed of and do not affect the edition count.

Do I need an account to buy an artwork?

No. You can purchase as a guest. However, creating a free customer account unlocks several benefits.

What are the benefits of creating a Mari Prete Fineart customer account?
  • Create and share wish lists/favorites, synced across all your devices.
  • View and manage your addresses (billing & delivery) anytime.
  • Track orders, download invoices, and contact support with order-specific questions.
  • Access special site features (e.g., “Try in your room” to preview artworks on your own wall and find ideal size/framing).
How do I create a customer account?

Option 1: Click My Account in the header, choose Create a New Account, and follow the steps. You’ll set a secure password and enter basic details (name, address). You’ll receive a welcome email.

Option 2: During checkout, choose to create an account when prompted (or log in if you already have one).

Option 3: If you check out as a guest, we automatically create an account for you. After your order, you’ll receive an email to set a password and activate access. You can ignore it and create an account later if you prefer.
